Brion would like to inform you of its plans to perform a controlled burn of excess non-salvageable tree and brush related to the clearing of access roads and well leases for the MacKay 2016-17 OSE Program. During the clearing of vegetation, any timber that cannot be salvaged or used as reclamation material or for access management, will be piled and burned. There are three OSE locations that require burning. In addition, Brion will also complete a controlled burn of excess wooden pallets and matting (both untreated wood) from the construction of the MacKay River Commercial Project (MRCP) within Borrow Pit 34 (SML 120099) and will burn excess woody debris from the wildfire clearing in place to encourage revegetation around Camp A and Camp B. We anticipate that all of the above burning will take place sometime between December 2016 and February 2017 (likely mid-December to mid- January). Additional information and a map of all burn locations can be found in the attached Burn Plan. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Cynthia Goddard.
